Steve Newell, founder of CloudConsult, joined the Telecommunications industry in the mid-1980s, just as the historic dismantling of the Bell telephone monopoly began. Steve mastered telecommunications technology literally from the ground up - structured cabling, POTS lines, T1’s, PRIs and premise PBX systems. When Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems were introduced, Steve was an early adopter, selling and managing the installation of the first (2) VoIP Mitel systems in New York City.
Steve has served in the Telephone Answering Service (TAS) industry since 2007, providing consultation in all areas of telecommunications and representing a number of different TAS platforms. He has managed complex installations, carrier moves and platform migrations, and overseen successful shifts from premise to hosted and cloud deployments.
Steve is also an Advisor at Cloud Tech Gurus, a Contact Center technology marketplace, and has access to a vast array of other Advisors, Subject Matter Experts and Contact Center solutions.
Cloud Tech Gurus (CTG) is a group of highly experienced customer engagement and technology advisors. CTG has partnered with over 150 Contact Center solution providers from Cloud Contact
Center solutions, to Scripting and Dispatch, Omni Channel, Speech Analytics and Quality Assurance tools, Translation (speech and text), Workforce management, Artificial Intelligence and BOTs for TAS, and much, much more.
